Meet Glynis & Annie
(Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery / Graduate Certificate in Neonatal Nursing and Child & Family Health / International Breastfeeding Lactation Consultant / Certified Infant Massage Consultant/ Holistic Sleep Coach)
Baby of Mine is the brainchild of Glynis Howard. Glynis began her career abroad as a registered nurse and midwife. She quickly developed a deep passion for helping and supporting parents with premature babies and young children.
After furthering her education in Australia, Glynis then embarked on a new challenge at the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital where she worked for 30 years. In this time Glynis gained extensive experience in various baby settling and feeding techniques.
Following RNSH, Glynis was employed as a Child and Family Health Nurse at the Early Childhood Health Centre in Narrabeen, NSW. As a mother of three and a proud grandmother of four very energetic little grandchildren, she has a lifetime of firsthand experience in addition to her professional expertise that she is passionate about sharing with others. Her passion for helping others is immediately evident, and her greatest joy comes from achieving real and lasting breakthroughs in the homes and families of those around her.
Annie joined Baby of Mine in early 2017 and has been learning from Glynis ever since. During this time she has been working closely with Glynis and offering support to families who are receiving support. She has had the privilege of being educated by Glynis about everything with sleep who has previously encouraged Annie to become a Sleep Coach. Until recently, the timing wasn't right for Annie with her own young family.
Under the endorsement and ongoing mentorship by Glynis, Annie is now working as a Sleep Coach. She is also formalising her own Holistic Sleep Coach qualification.
Annie also continues to manage all the social media sharing her knowledge through her writing and manages most of the business in the back end.
As a mum of two, Annie first met Glynis when her eldest child was only a few weeks old. She has experienced Post Natal Anxiety with both of her children who are now 5 and 20 months old. She has a deep passion for helping parents and kiddies with sleep as she knows first-hand what a difference it can make when we understand the sleep development journey. She has been helping people offline with a number of years now so is very excited to have the honour to support families.
